About Code University
Code University, in the beginning, simply seemed like a convenient place for me
to store my ever growing internal database of geekery. As I began to construct it, I
soon realized that others could also benefit from my findings and experiences in the computer
sciences. Running with this idea, I decided to name it Code University, since
it is chock full of educational material related to various technologies used in software development.
Here, you will find source code, procedural tutorials, technology syntax, and all sorts of juicy nuggets related to computing. Working on this web site was an effort to encapsulate those important pieces of routinely used computing power for future reference. I've grown accustom to using this site as a daily reference as well as updating it often with new findings that appear useful. I hope the information found here will be helpful to the technical community and provide a useful source of reference for those late night code-a-thons.

About The AuthorI have worn many hats over the years in the IT field. Who doesn't these days, right?
But mainly I've hung my hat on software development. It's what I've been doing since birth (it seems like)
and basically, it's what I enjoy doing the most when hammering away on a keyboard.

The css framework for this web site was made available by Arcsin. They have many table-less css driven web site templates to chose from so give them a look.
The underlying MVC framework used on this site is CodeIgniter. If you are interested in getting started with using PHP MVC frameworks, then check this one out. It's light weight and fairly powerful.
The database needs for this site were solved by using MySQL.
The server-side coding aspects of this site are covered by PHP.
Thanks to everyone involved in developing these technologies!
